Claire Peters
BSc (Hons), regHCPC, cert RCSLT
Associate Speech and Language Therapist
I qualified from Newcastle University with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Sciences in 2010. Since this time, I have worked both for the NHS and in independent practice with children and adults with a wide range of language and communication difficulties both locally and in the North East of England.
I am particularly passionate about supporting children in early years to reach their communicative potential and truly believe that early intervention is key in supporting long-term outcomes. I love working collaboratively with parents and other professionals to ensure that your child can reach their full potential.
My areas of expertise include early language development, autism, Gestalt Language Development and speech sound difficulties. I have recently completed PACT (Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy) Level 1 and 2 training (awaiting certification) and am also an NLA (Natural Language Acquisition) Trained Clinician. https://www.
