Associate Speech and Language Therapist
I qualified from Newcastle University with a degree in Speech and Language Sciences in 2010. Since this time, I have worked both for the NHS and in independent practice with children and adults with a wide range of language and communication difficulties both locally and in the North East of England.
I am particularly passionate about supporting children in early years to reach their communicative potential and truly believe that early intervention is key in supporting long-term outcomes. I have recently trained with the Nuffield Early Language Intervention programme to support language groups in schools and love working collaboratively with parents and other professionals to ensure that your child can reach their full potential.
I have also worked with adult clients who experience acquired neurological conditions. I have postgraduate qualifications in this field, including dysphagia assessment and management and LSVT LOUD, an evidence based approach used when supporting some people with acquired conditions.
